Unfortunately no, all our products are for PC only and run on the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Q10. When using multiple instances of the SuperWave Tarkus my VST Host crashed?

The crash is due to a multi-core processing issue and will be fixed in a future release. A simple workaround is to make multiple copies of the Tarkus.dll file and then rename the files sequentially, for example, Tarkus-01.dll, Tarkus-02.dll and so on. Then use only one instance of each file. This may or may not work in your VST host, depending on whether it allows for multiple plug-in DLL’s sharing the same VST ID. You could also use only one instance of the Tarkus and then bounce down to audio tracks and as a last resort, disable multi-core processing in your VST host.

Q11. After installation I get file not found errors and crashing when loading the plugin into my VST Host?

This problem is caused by UAC (User Account Control) on Windows 7 or Vista. On first run of the plugin, the DLL file creates a folder and extracts necessary module files into this folder which are required for the plugin to work. UAC prevents these files from being created. You will need to disable UAC and then re-run the plugin in your VST Host so that the missing module files can be created, you can then turn UAC back on when the plugin is working.

Q12. Can I use SuperWave plugins on a 64-bit operating system?

Yes! If you are using a 64-bit VST Host then you will need to download and install the x64 version of the plugin(s). If you are running your VST Host in 32-bit mode then download and install the x86 version of the plugin(s).

Q13. My virus checker reports the installation EXE file to be a virus threat, is this file infected with a virus?

No, there is a small risk that self-extracting EXE's will be flagged as a Trojan/Virus by various Antivirus vendors. It’s a very small risk, but it does happen from time to time and it applies to EXE’s created by any tool. The alert is caused by a false positive. False positives occur when a pattern of code in the file matches the same pattern contained in a virus signature. It is safe for you to install any of our installation files downloaded from our website.

Q14. My virus checker quarantines a file named spring2.sem, is this file infected with a virus?

No, your virus checker is detecting a false positive. False positives occur when a pattern of code in the file matches the same pattern contained in a virus signature. It is safe for you to allow your virus checker permission to run this file.
